Finding Drug and Alcohol
Rehab Near Me
We understand just how important of a decision it is when choosing between rehab centers in Milwaukee, and while coming forward to ask for help is a giant step in the right direction, it’s crucial to find a treatment facility that fits your needs the best. That’s why from the moment you reach out to us, we’re here to support you and provide you with all of the information you need to make the best decision for you.
The truth is — regardless if this is your first, second, or fifth time in treatment — entering drug and alcohol rehab can be intimidating. You’ll be surrounded by new people, staying in an unfamiliar place, and you’ll likely have a million different thoughts running through your mind: What are the people like? Am I going to fit in? Is the staff friendly? Are they experienced? Do they truly know what I’m going through? What’s the environment like? Will I be comfortable here? Is there a daily schedule? What’s treatment like? And how do I know it’s going to work?
These are not only perfectly normal thoughts to have prior to starting rehab, these are many of the right questions that we encourage you to ask us during your decision-making process. Once you’re ready to take a leap of faith, we’ll make sure you are as informed and comfortable as possible with what to expect from us, our treatment programs, and our rehab facilities.
Our Milwaukee Substance Abuse
While the building has been updated, it has retained its historical charm. With larger windows that allow plenty of natural light, beautiful colonial woodwork and original fixtures throughout, and serene décor in every room, our treatment facility was designed to be warm and welcoming to everyone who comes in.
Our substance abuse treatment facility contains the spaces where our clients can work on themselves and build their foundation for recovery. It has a library with resources about overcoming addiction and living a healthy life in recovery. The second floor holds each of our therapists’ offices. This is also the space where clients will partake in one-on-one counseling, while larger, private offices are used for family counseling sessions. We also have spacious rooms dedicated to group therapy, where clients can bond and grow together in recovery.
Milwaukee Sober Living Houses
We understand the importance of healing with others who understand where you are in recovery, but we also understand how important it is to heal in a clean, comfortable, living space. Our sober living residences are truly that: homes. Fellowship, comfort, safety, and convenience are the foundations of our men’s and women’s sober living houses in Milwaukee.
Every one of our sober houses are inviting, warm, furnished comfortably, and located in an accessible neighborhood in Milwaukee. Because they’re situated close to the UW Milwaukee campus, where many residents in the neighborhood are students living in shared spaces, our clients won’t have to worry about blending in with their neighbors — they can simply focus on their recovery.
Men’s Sober Living Homes
We have two sober living options for our male residents: a converted two-family home and a converted three-family home, with two and three full kitchens, respectively. Many of our residents share a spacious bedroom with one other individual, and have access to a backyard space that makes spending time outside enjoyable.
WOMEN’S SOBER LIVING HOME
Our women residents live in our two-story, single-family home. With hardwood floors, on-site laundry, and comfortable, beautiful furniture, our women’s sober living home is a warm place to begin your recovery journey. Like our men’s homes, the women’s space has shared bedrooms and a backyard for outdoor activities and relaxing.
Our commitment to our clients doesn’t end at discharge: clients have the option of staying in our Alumni Homes upon successful completion of primary addiction care when we feel they would benefit from the committed environment.
Men and women living in our Alumni Homes can continue counseling and select other services in a supportive place, where everyone is working to establish new, healthy routines and become financially and emotionally independent. Those in our Alumni Homes buy their own food and maintain the same responsibilities as if they lived in a traditional apartment or home, while enjoying the continued benefits of living with a house manager and peers focused on recovery.
