Who We Are
We’re a provider of outpatient addiction treatment and gender-specific Sober Living and Alumni Homes in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
We give clients struggling with substance abuse a safe place to focus on their recovery with peers who provide essential support.
Our team at Roots Recovery has been a critical part of the sober community in Milwaukee since the summer of 2012, and in that time, we’ve fostered the strong connections needed to rebuild lives and fuel lasting recovery.
Fellowships That Last a Lifetime
Strong networks of support are essential for a successful recovery, and at Roots Recovery, we believe that one of our greatest strengths lies in the fellowship we’ve built between clients, between alumni, and between our recovery staff. In our rehab programs, we foster an environment for clients to share successes, struggles, and goals, forming lasting friendships and helping one another progress along their recovery journey.
Individualized Addiction Treatment
Addiction affects everyone differently, meaning that there can be no “one-size-fits-all” approach to addiction recovery. Our team is flexible in our approach to recovery programming, providing more or less intensive addiction treatment depending on the individual client. We offer the following addiction treatment programs:
- Men’s and Women’s Sober Living
- Day Treatment
- Intensive Outpatient Program
- Outpatient Program
Therapies that Work
There are no quick fixes for addiction. Long-term success comes from providing individuals with the tools they need to maintain recovery. Throughout every stage of treatment, we teach clients the recovery skills and coping mechanisms they need to overcome their addiction and avoid substance use in the future. We prioritize helping our clients discover, address, and heal the root cause of their addiction, so that they may properly heal, all while teaching them the essential life and occupational skills they need to care for themselves beyond rehab.
A Staff That Understands
We understand the challenges that recovery presents. Our Sober Living and Alumni Home managers are program graduates, giving them a unique perspective and appreciation for the value we provide at Roots Recovery.
On the clinical side, we benefit from specialization and experience. From our medical director to our clinicians and counselors, every member of our staff has a deep understanding of the issues that plague those in recovery. We’ve chosen this profession because, just as we understand how debilitating addiction can be, we understand how it feels to knock down that wall, overcome substance abuse, and get your life back on track.
